3
Insert Tourni-KEY into the knot

TIE off Tourni-KEY
Add another knot to lock in the Tourni-KEY and tighten this knot.
Now keep turning the tourniquet until the bleeding stops or is controlled to a slower flow.
This may hurt the casualty - reassure them.

5
Tighten knot
Tighten the knot to secure the tourniquet in position
5
TWIST Tourni-KEY until bleeding stops then HOOK
Lock off the Tourni-KEY by hooking under the triangular bandage.
